Meet Dr. Eric Lewis PDF Print E-mail

eric2.jpg Dr. Eric Lewis is the practice owner and primary care veterinarian at Bell Road Animal Medical Center. Dr. Lewis was born and raised here in Montgomery. He attended Hooper Academy in Hope Hull, Alabama during grade school, junior high and high school. After graduation, he attended Auburn University in Montgomery (AUM) for the majority of his undergraduate work, and transferred to Auburn University main campus for the final year of undergraduate studies. He was then accepted into the Veterinary curriculum at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, which he graduated from in 1990.

Since then, Dr. Lewis has been located here at Bell Road Animal Medical Center. In 1992, he purchased 1/3 interest in the practice, and has been the primary DVM and manager since then. In 2005, he purchased the remaining 2/3 interest in the practice from the other two partners and began expanding the practice's services and upgrading the technology.

Dr. Lewis is married to his wife of 15 years, Wendi Lewis and lives here in Montgomery. He has two cats, TiVo and ICO, and a Border Collie, Reef. His interests include digital media, web technology, music, reading and scuba diving. He is a member and past president of the Montgomery Sunrise Rotary Club , the owner/administrator of OnlineMontgomery.com , and web administrator for Rotary International District 6880 .
